Suntera Global, a Jersey-headquartered, independent provider of fund, corporate, and private wealth services, makes senior hire to enhance its existing client offering, and accelerate growth across key jurisdictions.

Suntera Global has appointed Chris Marquis (pictured) as the firm’s new global head of private wealth. UK-based, he will also join the executive committee (ExCo).

In his new role, Marquis will lead Suntera’s global private wealth business – enhancing its client offering, accelerating growth across key jurisdictions, as well as building a strong, client-led business for the future, the firm said in a statement.

Marquis, who has held senior global leadership positions across Europe and Asia, brings more than 25 years of international experience in trust and fiduciary services to the role. Most recently, he was global head of private clients at Vistra. He also spent more than a decade at HSBC, which included serving as global head of private wealth solutions. His experience covers strategy, M&A and driving commercial growth, combined with a track record of developing high-performing teams.
